"The Rather Magnificent" Bert Sommer — Woodstock's Lost Treasure

This limited edition Zine is created for Woodstock's 55th anniversary to colorfully focus on Bert Sommer at Woodstock. I provide a sneak preview of my upcoming book about Bert’s music, life, and times, revealing never-known facts about how the twenty-year-old star of Broadway’s HAIR got to Woodstock, what happened onstage, and how he managed to slip through the cracks to become a victim of what some call “the Woodstock Curse.” Was it fate? Design? Just bad luck? The mystery is finally solved in the completed book, due to be released in 2025.
